No Roof Penetrations, MINIMAL Ballast, Low Weight
The versatility of the RAIS module design and the use of reflectors to create the self-supporting RAIS WAVE mean much easier and much more roof-friendly solar deployments. The system requires no additional racking or mounting equipment and is self-grounded, eliminating the need for a separate ground wire.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) streamlines and pressure profiles illustrating wind flow characteristics of the RAIS WAVE. Upstream wind (red indicates higher pressure) is transported over the array creating a steady-state profile across the remaining array.
An array of sufficient size is capable of resisting forces created by wind loadings on the edges of the system as verified in wind tunnel testing. The RAIS WAVE with minimal ballasting withstands winds up to 90 mph, eliminating the need for roof penetrations.
