LOW VOLTAGE WITH BUILT IN SAFETY MONITORING - SAFE, SAFER, SAFEST
No shock hazard, instant shutoff at source, built-in ground fault detection
A traditional solar system produces a substantial live current and cannot be shut off any time it is exposed to light. As traditional solar systems operate at voltages in the 300VDC-600VDC range, special precautions - like trying to cover the panels with light blocking tarps - are required to avoid risk of injury or lethal shock during installation, servicing and even during a firefighting situation.
Due to this level of risk to firefighters, there are several instances where firefighters have not tried to stop the fire on a building (even though the fire was completely unrelated to the solar PV System).
In contrast, a tenKsolar RAIS WAVE system does not operate until is it connected to a complete (and safe circuit) and instantly shuts off whenever it is disconnected. This means that there is zero risk of lethal shock. Firefighters responding to a fire at a building with a tenKsolar RAIS WAVE system know they can do their work safely.
Also, the RAIS module offers additional protection from undetectable low current ground faults as each is equipped with a ground fault detection circuit that complements the inverter's ground fault detection circuitry.
Safe, Safer, Safest.
