The Xcel Minnesota Made and Solar*Rewards program pays 60% of the total cost (Up to $5 per watt-peak) for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems that are manufactured in Minnesota. Combined with the 30% federal investment tax credit means building owners get outstanding returns on their investment. The solar system can pay for itself in five years or less, and provides 20+ years of free electricity.
