Light-Smart Reflectors

The tenKsolar RAIS WAVE Light-Smart reflectors are designed to optimize reflected light by filtering out UV and longer wavelength light which is not useful for producing power in silicon cells, but instead is converted to heat degrading the performance. The proprietary design of RAIS WAVE only reflects useful light to produce more energy while minimizing module temperature changes.

RAIS ® PV

The unique Cell Optimizing configuration of a RAIS PV module allows the maximum power to flow to the inverter by dynamically optimizing current flow in the module. If a cell is shaded, only power of the shaded area is lost.

Simpler: Full Model Interchangeability

Typically in conventional solar, solar cells are carefully sorted at laboratory conditions under a quick flash test to determine their power rating. These cells are then binned into groups to create specific panels with many different ratings, compatible in the field only with each other. Unfortunately, this matching process is optimized under one lighting and lab set of conditions - and not real world conditions of changing temperatures, illumination levels and soiling. RAIS modules adjust for these changing conditions electronically within the module to ensure maximum performance throughout the days, seasons and years of service.

As importantly, the RAIS configuration allows all modules to be used interchangeably with no dependence on others. Eliminating inventory headaches and simpler for installers and resellers. It is also comforting for consumers to know that if something happens to a module in the future, finding a matching replacement will not be an issue. Any tenKsolar module can be mixed with any others.
