Lowell has had many roles in technology development over the last 25 years, 20 of which in disc drive development at IBM and Seagate Technology. His technical, management, and leadership experience in both product integration and technology development have contributed to many generations of successful product launches. A key ingredient to that success is the ability to build strong, well-focused organizations composed of diverse skills. Lowell has 25 patents filed. He holds a PhD in Engineering Mechanics and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
